Lane, Virginia

Virginia has been in education for over 30 years. She has had the opportunity to teach in many different settings and in a variety of subjects. Virginia has a BA and credits for her master’s degree from Oakland University. She is trained and certified in the Montessori method, as well as Orton-Gillingham instruction. She possesses certifications in Reading and Language Arts. She has taught for Homeschool Connections since 2012. Before working for HSC, she was employed by Computer Explorers. Some of her classes include Robotics, Engineering, Video Gaming, Clay Animation, Digital Movies, and Green Screen. Virginia also teaches Language Arts, History, Geography, Science, STEM classes and Higher Order Thinking skills. She incorporates a multi-sensory and cross-curriculum approach in her teaching style.
