Homeschool Connections Teacher

Hartman, Alyce

Alyce Hartman attended Ohio State University. She majored in Journalism and minored in Art History. She worked 19 years as a marketing and public relations consultant, is a children’s book author, and has more than a decade’s experience as a freelance writer.

She homeschooled her four children and currently oversees a literacy program for a non-profit organization, serving youth, on the east side of Detroit. Throughout the year, she facilitates camps for kids, works with homeschooling families, and writes STEM, nature, and garden-based curriculum for preschool and elementary school students.

Alyce brings her joy of teaching and creativity into the classroom and fully engages her students in the learning process.
