Homeschool Driver’s Education Classes
Homeschool Connections is proud to partner with Academy Driving School of Troy to offer the opportunity to take Homeschool Driver’s Education Classes.
Homeschool Driver’s Education classes consisted of two segments. Segment 1 will allow a student to obtain a License Level 1 (“Learner’s Permit”). To participate in Segment 2, a student must have successfully completed Segment 1, have a valid License Level 1 for a minimum of 90 days and have had a minimum of 30 hours supervised driving including 2 hours at night (written or electronic log must be provided as proof). After successfully completing Segment 2, students may then take the Driver’s Test and apply for their permanent driver’s license.
Homeschool Driver’s Education Classes Dates and Times
Segment 1 – November 7 through November 26, 2019. From 5 – 7 pm $295
Segment 1 consists of 24 hours of classroom instruction, 6 hours of on the road coaching, and 4 hours of observation. Payment is due by the first night of class by check or money order.
- Week 1 – Thursday and Friday
- Week 2 – Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
- Week 3 – Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
- Week 4 – Thursday and Friday
Segment 2 class – November 7 through November 11, 2019. From 7 – 9 pm $40
Segment 2 consists of 6 hours of classroom instruction and does not exceed 2 hours of instruction per day.
