There are many ways to belong at Homeschool Connections, and you can plug in with us as little or as much as you want. Many families choose to belong by enrolling their children in classes, which brings them to campus each week. However, there is a place for you within our community regardless of whether or not you choose to enroll your child in our classes.
You can also connect and belong through the many types of events we offer each year. We welcome you to our special events, including picnics, curriculum fairs, educational workshops, conferences, and parent meetings. Your children are welcome to participate in our graduation ceremonies and attend our field trips. Have a field trip idea? We’re happy to accommodate you. You do the research and initial planning and we invite other families, collect the money, and help with the organization necessary to make your trip a success. If your children have a need for SAT/ACT preparation or special instruction, such as driver’s ed, we are happy to include them as well.
Friendship and support are important elements of home education, and we are committed to helping you develop lasting friendships within our community. Our campus supervisors help facilitate friendships, introducing you to other parents with similar interests and children in the same age range. If your goal is to have your children meet and develop friendships with other children, we are here to help. We don’t believe in leaving anyone behind or out in the cold.
Homeschool Connections is inclusive and open to all. While we do have a Christian worldview, we are accepting of everyone, without regard to background or religious beliefs. No matter how you decide to participate and interact with us, we want you to feel surrounded by people who care and support you throughout your educational journey.
