Service projects provide important learning experiences for children of all ages. Not only do they aid in the development of compassion, but they also teach planning, decision-making, and time management skills. Service projects are also useful for teaching students how to work in groups, cooperate, and problem-solve. As an added benefit, they teach community values and help participants understand their roles in the community.

Homeschool Connections provides opportunities for children to engage in a range of service projects. Some of our past service projects have included shoe collection drives to benefit people in third-world countries, winter coat collection to aid the less fortunate, used book drives, and various projects in support of mission organizations. We even support a thriving service project club, which was started by one of our high school students.

We actively seek and organize service projects for all who want to participate. Contact us to learn more, or sign up to receive email announcements of current and upcoming service projects.
