Terri Krol is married and has three adult children and one grandson. She became a homeschool parent for her youngest when he needed more attention than the public school system could provide. This was a joyful learning experience for both of them. She was a Catechism teacher for several years for 2nd grade kids and found that allowing these children to have a less rigid classroom structure provided a more relaxed learning opportunity since they’d already been in that atmosphere all day. She has also taught adults for Medical Assisting, Administrative Medical Office Assistant, and Medical Coding and Billing classes. Terri is currently employed by a homecare and hospice provider as a medical coder. In her spare time Terri likes to be outdoors watching animals in their habitats, gardening, or spending time in the woods. She lives in Lapeer County and has visited 7-Ponds Nature Center many times. With an understanding of individual learning and personality differences, both in children and adults, Terri knows that allowing students to reach their goals at their own pace equals success.
